Green Welcome

Dear Team-BHPians. It is great to be a member of this forum. Team-BHP has helped me and my friends on several occasions to take appropriate automotive decisions.

I am a power conditioning & energy consultant from Mysore and my focus is currently on renewable energy. I am interested in hybrid auto and other green options that will available to us in the future. If you have any questions related to my field, I'll be glad to discuss it at length with you.

As much as I like Team-BHP discussions on auto, I have also begun to enjoy quality content in the Gadgets, Computers & Software sub forum. I will begin by contributing in these sub-forums before moving on to automotive topics.

Re: Green Welcome

Hi,
Welcome to our world.

Though a petrolheads forum, you will find the discussions on other aspects of technology to be of an extremely high order.

Enjoy.

Welcome to T-Bhp.

Interesting to know your field. This forum is rich of information, not just about auto. But others too. Latest was the Nano based discussion. And now, I think more in-depth on the renewable resource

Btw, UPS --> Universal Power Source??

I started out as a Power Conditioning Consultant and hence the UPS stands for Interruptible Power Supply. UPS and inverters are two different things but it is funny when you consider that many can't differentiate one from the other.

An educative thread is in order. Isn't the heart of the UPS an inverter?
