Also, without meaning to doubt your quoted bhp figures....what were the before and after bhp figures of your Ikon that they gave you?

shakti ford
my hp after the headers was 100 approx
and it is suppose to be 92 hp as per the company claims

with free flow and K&N filter we improve 10 -12 bhp??

*i would like to know how, and what will be the effect on fuel consumption.

Nope. I honestly think it should be a maximum of 5 bhp on an Ikon...maybe 6 but not more.

Just called Shakti and they told me that they have no presence in Goregaon....only at Malad.

And they dont have a dyno

Can you please share the phone numbers of the service outlet that you are speaking about?

Sorry , Bhp....I m not doubting u (no offence dude), but are u sure it was a DYNO......coz a service station having dyno's seems doubtful

yeah that shakti ford service station is between goregaon and malad on the link road . i had also done some engine tuning after getting the headers . that automech guy had suggested me some some settings . guys u gotta trust me . i had got the hp checked last october . i dunno the current status . u can also check the ford service station which is somewhere near lalbaug . i guess they have it too . one of my friends used to work there at that time and he had got it checked for me when i had left the car for servicing . thats the increase in the hp he said .( i trusted him )
