XUV-500 .The Mamba .. First Ownership Thread

The XUV500, in black, is a stunning piece of kit! The colour hides all those faux slats and slits on the bumper, and gives it a very purposeful and strong stance. It's a great looking SUV, this.

But the wheels and tyres just don't do any justice to the car at all! Please do something about it! Larger wheels and wider tyres will enhance the way the car looks a great deal!

Oh boy! The black XUV looks mighty. Wish I had parking space for this monster.

Congrats on the black mamba! Doesn't look much like a snake though, I must say.

I had been eyeing this car since the first peeks started surfacing. However it's another thing that I can't afford it right now; way out of my price range... When I do upgrade from my Figo it will most probably be an XUV or its successor.

Awaiting your drive reports eagerly, although the official review thread is a real gem and covers every single aspect.

Congrats Mannubhai! It had to be black if it is an XUV. Most of the overdone designs on the front bumper are hidden.

The wheelcaps on the W6 could have been designed better. Even the Scorpio has better looking wheelcaps!

Heaps and heaps of Congratulations on the first XUV on the BHP

. The colour looks good and menancing on the SUV (Although my personal preference was White). Please post more interior pics please. Happy mile crunching and drive safely.

Guess what this weekend I am going for a TD in Thane courtsey my friend at M&M showroom

. I was at the showroom during the launch and I must say I was literally drooling over the monster. I could see people admiring the SUV and then flashing their cheque books at the booking counter. Can you imagine there was a line to pay the booking amount. There were three XUV standing in white, Red and Black. I felt the SUV in white stood out amongst the rest.

Enjoy your ride and hope she lives up to your expectations.
