Vivek I was once talking to a local guy here who was telling me how he had to drive his car all the way to Mumbai as most of the guys here who say they do mods are mainly "garage types" and can not be relied with. I think for internal modifications your best bet is either bangalore or mumbai.

External mod accessories and fitments though is done by most of the big accessory shops. Pitstop on raj bhavan road, stunnerz on minister road can all be given a shot.

Wow, dat's a nice car.
Nice pics dude...

Why don' u remove those Mud flaps :-D, will look more boyish...

Jai

OT , i also own a 05 marina lx tdi .... the regular oil change suggested by tata is 7500 kms but dealers suggest 10k kms for it .....is it advisable changing oil and filters at 10k bcoz otherwise the car has to go to the service station very often..........plz help

go with 7.5k service interval...stick with service manual

@vivek : What kinda ICE are you using? And what is that little remote kinda thing on the right quarter of your steering wheel?

Vivek, you've got a great looking car... congrats! good to know you've had a nice service experience thus far too...

I am looking for suggestions -

- what can I do to improve the interiors and wat external mods I can carry out to make it more sporty?

Vivek

You can:
  1. Fit the Adventure crash guard along with the oval fog lamps. Costs Rs. 7000/- I think.
  2. Fit Adventure's foot board. Looks very neat.
  3. Fit a roof carrier to enhance the outdoor/sporty effect. You can order it from Tata authorised dealer. An aerodynamic, box type carrier is also available for Marina. Saw it in Tata Genuine Accessories catalogue.
  4. Replace the bumpers with unpainted, black ones, a la the Adventure.
  5. Try fitting the wheel arches from Indica. Marina's sporty version (called Advent, never launched) had them.
Enjoy the driving!
Cheers!
