I have tried several times to get a snorkel installed but the price seems to be on the higher side and I was not sure of the quality. Basically I did not find good ROI for that investment, instead I have spent most of the money on travelling

Hi. Just bought a new Bolero lx 4wd
M2DICR the same model as yours. Getting conflicting views on installation of the AC. Can you send me detailed photos of the compressor and belt installation on your car. Thanks!

Happy 7th year to the Bolero LX 4WD aka The White Tusker! I hope I will be able to keep the vehicle beyond 10 years and do not need to scrap it due to some stupid knee jerk policies by the NGT.

Pic taken during a recent off-roading session with dip27_in's newly acquired Pajero SFX

I think I forgot to wish happy birthday to the Bolero for the first time in 8 years. Belated happy 8th year birthday to The White Tusker. A few days back I was contemplating on selling off the Bolero, but then I saw a video where Richard Hammond says - "Cars not only carry people, they carry memories". After that I have decided not to sell it!
I went to Kolkata in 2019 November and had planned to take the Bolero to Sandakphu. But ended up taking a friend's Pajero Sport. The Bolero must not have been happy. In order to make up, I did a full servicing - engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter, differential oil, polish etc.

After landing in Kolkata the first thing I did was to take pics of the Bolero and the Thar standing in the garage. Then drove the Bolero around for 10 minutes.

Happy 9th Birthday to my beloved Bolero! It has been more than a year since I saw or drove the Bolero, hope to change that as soon as we get some respite from the pandemic. A picture taken long back -

A very happy b'day to your Bolero.

What a sweet looking thing this.

In an era of automotive design which is obsessed with extra cuts, creases, lines, looking at something like this is almost therapeutic.
