I think the Ritz also has Synthetic oil and thats the reason the SA folks did not insist on having the oil changed. The oil will cost around 850 per liter if I remember correctly.

That's quite expensive. I'd rather have bought a superbike for that kind of maintenance :D

Oil costs me 280*3.1 = 868
Oil Filter unsure, need to check my previous bill.

Expensive, well that's my schedule and since my usage have been pretty much on the highways would not want to cut any corners in its maintenance lest I get stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Well you also gotten into the daily users category and I will be keen to watch your service bills :D

Got a pure leather steering cover from here. Costed me 700 bucks. The steering wheel now feels chunky to hold and the leather has a rich premium feel to it.

The steering cover being installed after custom measurement and stitching:

BIG thanks to friendly moderator Vid6639 for all accompanying me to this shop for the installation.

Here are the interior pics as some of you had requested. Apologies for the delay in posting these pics.

The dashboard has a nice texture:

Also noticed that the MID was reporting a drop in FE. Checked the air pressures (last checked a month back, few days after taking delivery) on my way to work in the morning and observed that the rear left wheel air pressure was down to 50%.

Refilled air and in the evening on my way back home, i dropped by at Madhus Enterprises. Turned out the tire was indeed punctured.

Got the tire fixed in less than 10 mins. :) The staff was highly efficient and very courteous. :thumbs up

P.S. Apologies for the quality of pics. These were shot from my cellphone.

n_aditya: Nice steering wheel cover. Your seats are still stock, not planning for seat cover ?

Aditya, The steering grips look very good and the color combination does look very matching with the rest of the car's interiors. Was just wondering if it was a ready made piece that they stitched onto the steering wheel or was it stitched from scratch?

Regarding the puncture any plans of you going in for the live tire protector? Think with that you might have had to just remove the screw and top up air to fill in.

This was stitched from scratch.

No plans for these puncture sealants Mahesh. I have a puncture kit with enough strips so as of now the liquid sealant is not in consideration.

Congrats on buying a practical car!

Is the tyre having a crack or something else?

It's the extra bits of rubber that's present on a new tire. :)

Hi aditya, the steering grip and covers look great. what is the material used for seat covers? did you buy it separately or the installer has it available with him?
And also what was the cost .

The seat covers are stock. The steering cover is pure leather and cost me 700 bucks.

n_aditya: One query: Is your spare tyre an alloy ?

I am not very sure Supriyo.

A friend has a ZDi Ritz has a spare as steel wheel and not an alloy.

Anurag.

Or is it been the trend with the new ones? It would have been good to have all of them as alloys.

2000 kms mark breached last week, in 45 days of ownership with only home-office commutes thrown in. Highway drives planned later this month.
