Installation

In Sunny fuse box (in cabin) is located on the passenger side dashboard.


Fuse box cover.
1st slot marked in RED is for power socket

Tested with Circuit tester - Ignition 'OFF' mode


Ignition 'ACC' mode


Use fuse puller to remove the fuse


15A fuse


Installed the fuse tap to check if it fouls with around parts.
-ve is taken from the screw marked in RED


Hard wiring kit


End terminal (+ve) prepared


Door beading removed to route the cable


Routed through A-Pillar


Installed the camera below IRVM (marked in Yellow)
Wanted to install over the IRVM (marked in RED) but the camera (with GPS mount) was interfering either with the IRVM or roof lining

Camera in action

One of the HL bulb (RH Low beam) gave away during last trip and I couldn't get a branded 100/90W replacement on the highway. Finally settled for 'Value Parts' brand from Ashok Leyland and I regret getting it.
It was cheaper (120 INR) but intensity is no where close to Philips / Osram, high beam leaves a dark patch in the center :Frustrati

I'm fully satisfied with the product quality (except for the USB cable, which is sub standard compared to the charging cable), output quality, ease of installation and usage, simple menu, etc.

Do I recommend?
YES, for the one looking for sub $100 solution

Super duper thanks to you, I have bought the Viofo dashcam after so many pms with you sir. It came pretty fast from Aliexpress, 12 days to be precise and its a surprise as none of my items have come before 30 days from aliexpress.

I will be installing it today on my Honda City and your detailed DIY on the hardwiring will be my blue print for the same.

Eagerly awaiting the Damping mod on your car. I have been trying to find out here in mumbai but cannot find a proper damping guy. Dynamat has listed some vendor in Mumbai but none of the numbers are working.

Whats the reverse camera swap? are you replacing it or will you are getting a dedicated camera like the dashcam for the reverse side ?

Current camera will be replaced with a better clarity (if not a HD) one or add a OE camera, hidden above the number plate.

Got Fastag after a bit of patience.





Ordered fastag through Paytm in October, after waiting for over couple of weeks order got cancelled stating the seller couldn't fulfill the order :Frustrati Then applied through Equitas on 9th Nov and got it delivered on 11th Nov :thumbs up

How much did the San Marino 330 cost you? I got the same from Amazon, hence curious to know the price to compare.

A little less than 9.5k.

Yes sure. It cost me 10700 when I purchased end of October. Found only that one when I browsed the web world.
Either way it is much lesser that what Nissan is selling it for which is the MRP on the package! And they even said the online purchase does not come with any warranty as it is sold by a third party!

Except for Flipkart BBD offer it was priced with similar figures across all e-commerce sites.

Forget about the warranty, it's more of a fate or luck.

Completed damping on all 4 doors and the result is far better now. Low frequency disturbances and door pad rattles were completely filtered.
