Yes, this infotainment has Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Is much crisper than what we see after market or in Maruti Suzuki Cars.

The infotainment's cost was some 80K, don't remember the exact cost as it was a part replacement for my damaged infotainment. I had to cough up some 29K for the part which went bad, rest Mahindra adjusted on goodwill.

Mahindra did not have the required part with them of the infotainment which went bad in mine, hence, they gave me a goodwill benefit.

I have heard that few infotainment systems in market do support Mahindra's software and compatibility may not be an issue, if you can scour around, you may come across as them. They will cost 30K tops.

Thanks. Do you know if this was plug and play or more complicated than that?

Also did you get the mic issue sorted? What was the solution?

I was not present then, but it is neither a plug and play, nor very complicated.

Unfortunately, mic issue isn't sorted, I just don't have the patience to go and get it done (if they can rectify it or not, solution is unsure as they have tried, hence my reluctance to pursue it...). Will be sending it for 100K service in a few days once some maintenance parts arrive. Will try then. Will definitely update.

1,00,000 kilometers done and dusted, the Scorpio went through a comprehensive service & some TLC.

Apart from regular consumables (oil & filter changes), it saw the front propeller shaft being changed (teeth issues), both front shock absorbers & arms being changed, rear shock absorber bush & bums (yellow rubber stops) being replaced, steering rack being replaced. Auto wiper sensor had gone bad (suspect, it was at the time of windshield replacement).

Got the tires changed too.

Celebrated this occasion by driving in to Nepal. I didn't realize I was cruising at 110 kmph sometimes, the service & tire (lack of noise) made their presence felt. Roads before Dharan were under construction, so if traffic permits & you are above 80 kmph, you literally don't feel much & fly over road irregularities.

The service costed me ~60K and tires some 56K.

re: Sheel's Mahindra Scorpio S10 4WD. 1,10,000 kms completed.

With kid's school closed for vacations (Dussehra / Navratri), we all went for a small trip to Kurseong via Siliguri and came back via Ghoom - Mirik - Siliguri.

Resort's location was pretty good and the road leading to it was traversed in 4L, the Scorpio just died in 2H, no movement at all. Had it not been 4L, either I might not have made it or would have to abuse the clutch & suspension (rocks were crushed for paths at places).

This is the view you get barely ~225 kms from my home.

re: Sheel's Mahindra Scorpio S10 4WD. 1,10,000 kms completed.

An update

A year has passed since last service and it was time for an annual service. It was again going to be a major one, while I had no complaints from the clutch and it's functionality (had gotten hard), at 1,09,xxx kilometers, it was time to change the clutch and all its components.

Along with it, it underwent a comprehensive service, checks and replacements of all fluids and filters, some suspension parts needed change as did brakes. Drove 370 kilometers at one stretch and it still drives as good as a new Scorpio should. I am happy, no unscheduled service visits despite 8+ years and at over 1L+ kilometers, I think, I might keep it for some more time.

Have another ~800 kilometers drive planned, shall try to post some pictures.

Thanks for reading.
