New Battery !

The battery was giving some trouble today, my driver had to jump start the car in the morning.
Hence replaced with a new Amaron battery.
Got INR 800/- for the old battery & finally Paid INR 4500/- (Incl. GST). Hope this was a fair deal as i did not research much about pricing etc.

Re: My Video Review: 2015 Ford Figo 1.5L TDCi

Hello everyone, I am a newbie and this is my first post, just got approved to the forum, thank your moderators. @Karan, thank you so much for that you tube video you had posted, just made the decision making very easy. We brought home the Figo Titanium 1.5 Oxford White on Dec 22 2016. I have a quick question for you, have you fitted an armrest in your car, I plan to, but I'm not sure of how that will workout, any suggestions?

Re: My Video Review: 2015 Ford Figo 1.5L TDCi

Update: Service @ 33,699 Kms ;

Forgot to update the thread with the service which got conducted on 26/2/2019.

The major decision taken in this service was to switch to FULLY SYNTHETIC ENGINE OIL to be precise MOBIL1 0W40.

This has literally transformed the car with respect to NVH levels of the engine and the overall smoothness

In addition to this the regular jobs were conducted like AC Filter, Air Filter change & Wash, interior vacuuming etc also the Brake Fluid Change was done.

Some squeaks were dealt with too & a 4 tyre rotation was done.

Total bill was aprox Rs 9500/- (Including GST)

Re: My Video Review: 2015 Ford Figo 1.5L TDCi

Recently the Figo was the support car to play an important role in filming the latest video for my E46;

Re: My Video Review: 2015 Ford Figo 1.5L TDCi

Maha Update: 46,411 km Service;

This is a late post as this service was carried out in Nov. 2019.

Total Work Done;

Brake Pads Change (Front), Disc Skimming (Front), Rear Brake Lining Change, Engine Mounts Change (as they had apparently worn out/cracked), Engine Oil Change (Synthetic), Door Lock/Handles repair (Rear Handles were jammed), Rear Tail Lights Bulb Repair & Washing/Service/Vacuuming etc was done.

Total Cost Including Labour was aprox INR 16,500.

New Seat Covers;

My Video Review: 2015 Ford Figo 1.5L TDCi-img_20191230_142822.jpg

^ These Cost INR 5000 (Discounted, Incl. fitting) & are OE Ford Figo accessory

Really like this official accessory offering by Ford, just unhappy with the wrinkles which were caused because the seat covers were improperly stored at the service centre & should iron out with usage (hopefully). Accepted this as this was the last piece left. Overall its added a refreshed look to the interiors as the Figo lately has been chauffeur driven & have spent a lot of time at the back seat. Really spacious & people should not underestimate the space/value it offers at this price point.

New Tyres: 205/55 R15 Continental MC5;

Had been running on 195/55 R15 earlier so thought of upsizing the tyres to 205/55 R15;

The added width has really enhanced the looks, steering feel, handling & limit the wheel spin in the initial 2 gears. A Solid Upgrade indeed

Hey Karan.

Can you please share some more pictures? Did you notice any kind of decrease in power with the 205/55 R15?
