I have not tried perfinzas yet. I was thinking about going back to Continental in future. Perfinza availability is an issue here.

MC5 is discontinued now and replaced with new UC6. Initial reviews are positive

Seriously! The Perfinza is a leech! Didn't expect it to be better than Michelin or Continental in terms of grip and feel. I'm afraid the car may roll over before the Perfinza losses grip.
The tires have become noisy after 10k kms though. Not complaining! You can't demand the whole world for a competitive price.

Do keep us posted about the Michelins in the long run. For some reason, I was never able to convince myself to get the Michelins. Maybe next time!

True!! Perfinzas have really spoilt me for the grip and was cheaper than P4ST too.

Similar observations!!

Sure thing. Michelin claims that P4ST has similar performance even when worn out , let's see how it goes. I have noticed Perfinzas and MC5s to become noisy and reduced grip after 75 % of tread wear.

Michelin Primacy 4 ST: Feedback after 500 Kms (Comparison with MC5 and Perfinza)

I am happy to report that the performance did improve a lot after run in period. New tyres have some kind of lubricant / chemical coating which could make the steering feel light, reduced grip and braking.

Ride Comfort: Excellent
P4ST > > Perfinza = MC5

Tyre noise: Super silent
P4ST > > Perfinza = MC5

Steering feel: Good
MC5 > Perfinza = P4ST

Grip: Adequate
Perfinza > MC5 > P4ST

Braking: Good
I can't really compare with MC5 as I am running with EBC yellow stuff now. I do have 100-0 timing data for Perfinzas, shall do one soon with P4ST for proper analysis.

Overall: Very satisfied

re: My Maruti S-Cross 1.6L Alpha : Stage 3 Wolf (~200 HP / 420 NM). EDIT : 5 years & 72,000 km up!

EBC YellowStuff brake pads were the best performing in my car till date. I got life of around 7k Kms, which is normal for my driving.

My plan was to get another set of the same pads along with plain Brembo rotors, not really worth spending a bomb on slotted rotors. I couldn't source them immediately and had to pick up something cheap but decent.

KBX Front Pads : Rs. 900 ( local spare parts shop)

I hope they are decent, Tata provides them as OE for Harrier.

Installed at FNG: Rs. 250

The car is doing brilliant. I have few more mods to complete and hopefully not spend anything more .

What Next ?

1. Decent aftermarket HU
2. Garrett Intercooler
3. Exterior detailing

Stay Tuned!!!

Check the rear toe value. It should be in the range of 0°2' to 0°28'.

Thank you, Dr. Naren.

I took it to Madhu's to do the check. Reading came as 0.33.

I then went to Kalyani Motors service centre, Bilekahalli, Bangalore as this is where i get my car serviced. I showed them the report and said it was out of range. Also, showed your post of team bhp where you had mentioned that you had got the part replaced under warranty.

They then opened the previous wheel balancing report from their records. The reading was 0.3. But the max tolerance value shown on their system is 0.38. So, they were like since it is within limits they cant replace. But they still continued looking for the warranty claim and they found the service record for your car.
In the service report it was noted as - replaced due to tic tic sound.
Service Advisor along with me went on a test drive to see of if the sound is present. He said, to test for the suspension beam the half car (right or left) should be on level ground and other half should go up the incline and come down. If there is a problem with the suspension beam there will be a metal sound.
The sound was not observed and he asked to me check it and report back if i notice any sound.

Meanwhile i had tweeted Nexa and Kalyani Motors on this matter. Nexa replied asking me to call or mail them. Today morning, an executive from Kalyani Motors had called, listed to the problem and promised me that a call from technical team will be arranged.

From the report, though left toe is beyond range the combine value is still within range. Also, there is no sound. For these 2 reason, i am not sure if i can insist on replacement and also at same time kind of relaxed

Good to know . If there is no premature or uneven tyre wear, you need not worry. Do keep an eye on rear toe values.

Cheers!
