After 3 months of buying a new dicor, i realized very recently that the lower a/c vents (for leg area) are blocked. No air comes out, no matter which position the a/c knob is set to. Don't know what could be causing this. Not sure if the cross-overs for the component speakers and the Pioneer iPod adapter shoved behind the music system head unit are causing any obstruction....:confused:
I need to visit the service station soon before my list of problems get any longer!
Will be posting pics my Dicor once i get access to my BHP Garage

I presume yoou are talking about the rear ones on the floor between the two front seats? If so, they are controlled by the rotating adjusters on the front center vents....try it & let me know

He is talking about the front legroom area. Mine too has the same problem.
Stupid tata have them now covered with the floormat and morons forgot that we may use the a/c to vent the front legspace area for driver and co driver. i asked dealer how to remove it, the dealer said, we need to cut the space covered by it lol:

Rahul, thanks for the info! Will screw their happiness on my next visit to the service station. Will try and take some pics of the problem area.
For those residing in Gurgaon/Delhi NCR, you might have experienced the hailstorm in Feb'07.

The hailstorm was so intense that it left some ugly dents on the bonnet of my new Dicor. Even though they are not easily visible to an ordinary person - the dents are visible when one looks at them from an angle. Didn't expect something like this could happen to a Safari :Shockked:
Anyone faced a similar problem or know if these dents can be fixed? :confused:

Metal has the same qualities irrespective of which manufacturer uses it. And Tata is not known to shirk on gauge thickness to make their vehicles affordable.
When I was in Australia, I've seen some of the worst hail storms ever. That used to cause some serious damage to the cars there (sometimes to the extent of shattering the windscreens too), by way of tiny dents sprewed all over the bonnet, roof and boot. The insurance companies used to completely write-off the vehicle in that case! Doubt if it can be fixed, except for complete dent and paint job - complete makeover?

I'm not sure if paintless dent-removal specialists are available in India today - in Dubai we have DentMaster (800-DENT) and in South Africa we had DentDoctor - both specialist, automated dent removal services which did not involve repainting.
After every hailstorm, DentDoctor used to be flooded for days.
I think something like that is available at a tata dealership - fortune motors, nerul. If i've heard correct, it uses suction to get the dented metal back in shape.

Yup thats what DentDoc does. Very effective, but very expensive because of the cost of machinery used.
I had it done on my bike after my spill - cost me Dhs.400 for 2 tiny dents on the petrol tank.
Dont know how much it costs....but the results are really good.

With this suction device, wouldnt the paintwork get affected in any way? When the machine sucks at the metal sheet, shouldnt the paint get sucked at first? Dunno...

After repairs did it looked like it had dents? If not then its worth it... better than replacing the whole tank.
