Great feedback Firebird. Injector cleaning is i am assuming Fuel Injector cleaning correct? If yes, that's quite expensive. For Accent its about Rs.220 or so. For a much bigger vehicle like a Sonata, it is about 700 or so. Otherwise, all else looks ok and i am sure your a happy man after the service.

Yes, thats Fuel Injector cleaning. The method they follow is mouting them on a separate machine and passing some solution through that. But 1100/- is looks to be expensive.

In the end, palio is rocking again.

Latest FE

14650 KM on Odo.

Calculated the FE in the last refill. Fuel filled till auto cut off, covered 146 KM. The fuel refilled 14.07 ltrs with auto cut off again.

This gives me FE of 10.37 kmpl. Now whats so special about this? yes it is, my first time to get 10+ FE in city driving condition with Palio 1.6

The driving style observed

1. Switch off at long waiting lights
2. RPM below 2000. (Very few occasions when it crossed 2000)
3. AC usage 60% (The 40% travel mostly at night when returning home from work and alone)
4. Tyre pressure 29 psi at all four wheels (Well this was for smooth ride and not FE)

So those who look down at Palio 1.6 for low FE, please mind, she can drink sensibly if you drive sensibly .

Offlate I'm getting more than 10.5 KMPL in city for my last 4 tank fulls with auto-cutoff. Though there may be some error, but when you average it out, I', still getting more than 10.5KMPL. This is without A/C.

10.5 without AC....?

So if you drive with 50% AC you can probably get 10.00 kmpl...

10.37 kmpl which i got is with 60 % AC so I am little happy.
