Nice review to see such a detailed service report. I need to start taking leave whenever I give my car for servicing as well.
Trust me it is worth it. Never trust anyone with your car.

The engine load might have been lower also because the air temperature reduced by 24C.
There is something wrong here. I will post the truth in a few days. Try guessing till then. Its only about the two pictures of the ECU readings.

LOL dont say Swift in a Fiat thread, you know finney with the funny signature? He is from Bangalore. He will trace you down. No offence .

Well I am glad you liked the review although I haven't written much.

Hey Kiran, excellent review, similar passionate review by Amit about his S10 gave me the confidence to go for Palio, when I was looking for one.
Also now feel like driving down to Pune to get my car serviced, when I see the service standard set by B U Bhandari as per your posts.

Thanks Major but the point about service is stand by your car and you know they will carry out all jobs without interference.

Hey Moral, that service report was really too cool. How are the BUB guys? Have never actually tried them.

They are brilliant as I said in my report most of the guys are from Ashwamegh motors which was a Fiat only dealer that shut shop some time back. So most of their staff working on Fiats is well trained.

thts true, i dont quite have the confidence in braking at those speeds!
once while on Jaipur-delhi, I was having a race with a Civic. Had overtaken it and had to brake mighty hard when 2 trucks in front blocked the road. It was a close call and brakes almost felt useless!!

Finally had to let the Civic go, its too quick!!

outdid an Octavia RS once here in delhi, tht was fun

Hello, just saw this thread. I've seen your car in person, and it is beautiful. This is by far the best colour on the Palio.

Nice car, wish I had a chance behind the wheel. SR '08, wokay?

Hmm, would have imagined it to be the other way-The RS should have been almost impossible to beat and the Civic should have been easier.Seems you got a very good Civic driver and a mediocre Skoda driver.
I test drove the Civic a few weeks back and I was yawning away to glory. Its fast only after 5K rpm, thats when the iVtec works its magic and the car flies. That car can could do with some low end grunt though.

Might be the RS wasn't speeding. The RS could eat the Palio in reverse gear too .

Brakes are ok but the tyres on my car are stock Bridgestone S322 tube type tyres which are scary at high speeds but I like correcting steering over and under steer at corners.

Thanks Akshay. Sure I'll participate just for fun and getting a VIP pass in SR'08. May be i'll be driving to Bangalore before the SR.
