I too have a 2004 model 1.6 ZXI, and it has been a pleasure drving this machine so far. Its a lot more fun to drive and you feel totally in control when driving when compared other cars in its class.

Few -ves though--
1) The cabin noise is a bit pronounced as you rightly pointed out.
2) Rattling noises tend to creep in over time
3) The back seet feels cramped when you seet 3 adults
4) Shockers seem to age much faster than other vehicles in its class

Now, they come with the same standard bumper, which is the one with the round foglamps. I guess that started as a standard from the NXT series. Currently, with only the Flair variant still alive, it continues with the same bumper design.

I own a August 2002, Ford Ikon ZXi that was bought as a second hand vehicle in November last year. I too found the cabin to be quite noisy. Can anyone suggest where i can get this rectified? i think the Ford Service is quite costly hence want to avoid that. I stay in Bangalore (FYI)

I also need someone to suggest where i can get my car body modifies (eg: spoilers and side-skirts) in Bangalore.
