Thats interesting about Horn for Swift, BIMAL guys told me samething about Horn when I asked them to install 2 horns in my Swift when I baught it from them.

Then I visited car shop I know and they installed it in front of me within 10 minutes and charged nothing since already I had paid them 50 bucks for removing my customized horn from Santro

Regards,

Ravi.

thanks for all your wishes! for the info part, the alloys costed me 20,500 (aligning and fitting charges waived), without nuts. i used the old nuts itself. as for the tyres, its 4,400 per tyre with 1,100 per tyre in exchange. rims he didnt pay me anything. actually i didnt spend too much time checking out on the alloys. from another thread in tyres section, i gathered that the black alloys would look good on this car rather than white. in my mind i wanted a five spoke alloy, and thats it. the model number is JL - 04 in Lenso for those who want it. sai iyengars told me that this alloy is commonly sold. he also has a four spoke one which is also good. but thats LEAGUE.

as for the horns, i m still skeptic to screw up the stock ones if i dont know what i am doing. so if anyone knows the exact place to go to do the horn part in bangalore, do lemme know so that i make it on a saturday and be done with that.

@hellspawn, the alloys are extra they are not stock.

@busa do lemme know where you installed the horn, and what sort of upgrade are you suggesting for my headlamps? i thought they were good generally speaking.

Horn installed in the left side of the front bumper. Since there is no space in the hood to go inside the bumper the wheels were turbed absolutely right and from there the installer put the horn behind the front bumper.

About headlamps, just buy 100/90 bulbs like phylips ralleye and a bosch relay and get it installed, no problems what so ever and you will have better light for sure.

Edit - Dont install any relay for the horn, the diesel comes with a horn relay which i have confirmed with MUL.

Congratz to you again buddy. And the color do looks good. My only advice is wrt parking try to avoid parking under trees cos the hood is notorious for dents caused by falling tree twigs!!

Yes i have fitted an additional horn (Stieble Nautilus) along with wiring and relays through the dealer at 1st service, for my highway usage. Its fitted inside the hood on the RHS there was a clamp on the wheel weel, i think which usually houses the ABS and is a perfect fit.

Sriky, Finally, you made it! Congrats!

After reading your Drive report, only thing I liked was the performance of 1.3 Multijet engine, and no wonder it was a Fiat engine!

Enjoy driving your new Car!
