Once I get a scratch / dent on my car, I rip it then because you tend to be very careful during the first few days / weeks of a new car. Once it is old you just drive normally, You will notice that its all in yr mind ( do not think you are driving a new car ) drive normally and I am sure your car will be all clean :D

BTW - pls do not even think of selling yr car.
