Thanks for that.

You might have got answer for the 1st question and for 2nd one here is the answer.

Till date I have done 1000 kms and FE according to my caliculations is 11-12 in city with AC on for some time and off for sometime. Its 13-14 on Highways with AC on and Off.

Reg you friend if he is a wants FE then he must go for 1.1. If he has "Need For Speed" then 1.6 Stile would be more obvious choice.

All the new gen auto engines are preconditioned hence they don't require any rev limitaions till so n so kilometers as mentioned by others. Be happy and rev. Only thing don't rev when u have cold start.
Thanks San.

Thanks again for confirming that and for the tip on cold start.

But they say prevention is better than cure so i wud stick to limitaitons for 500 kms more.

Guys how do u get these FE figures ??

Guys,

How do you end up with the 10-11 FE figures for the 1.6 ???

I have empty roads and am getting anywhere between 6-7 w/o AC !

What could be wrong ? - I need to reach 9-10 w/ac

LOL it was just a healthy leg pulling thats all :-)

I asked mileage becasue normally people drive sedately in the initial period so the results with most of the owners are similar

Check your clutch usage and gear in which you run the vehicle the most and traffic conditions. And as rightly said by Bottle
