I guess the combination indeed helped knock of 4sec as from my experience a stock Xing cant do 120 plus on 3rd gear compared to a Xing with a Green cotton Wind or K&N conical.

anyone got any idea regarding the number part of the torque increase when you add a Green cotton?

Crazy ! do meet Thadus!
Guys correct me if i'm wrong if a modded santro does 120 in 3rd so will a stock santro. The difference will be how quick it gets there. Because of the revlimiter. (considering ofcourse that ecu is stock.) Inputs please.

congrats Akshay. When I drove your Innova all i felt was that it was pulling better in all the gears as if the gears were suddenly taller. Even noticed a meagre increase in pick up but was thinking that could be because of the filter alone. But what you say now makes sense. In the event the box takes it time t read and then remapp, the car as you say should be flying. Wheelspins eh?? Wow. Would love to drive her now and experience the power boost. Four seconds dropped from the stock timing?? Just try again and see if you've calculated right!! And If thats the results you got, maybe there should be another one ordered... for my innova!!
I'm happy for you now as you looked quite "Dukkhi" at the initial response your car gave. Great, now drive carefully buddy!!!

v16 - . i was dukkhi but when i took it to seaface i became sukkhi.

everyone else - i had caliberated the g-tech properly with all the vehicle data before taking the runs. peter himself said he had managed to knock off about 3-4 seconds with the box. i took three runs and this one was the middle one. the other two were about .2 seconds + and -. i guess the actual timing would be around 12.5.

about the filter noise. it will be sorted. i just have to relocate the pipe.

the mileage still seems to be the same. has probably gone down to 9 because the car has been revved a lot the last few days. normally get ten. lets see now.

Boy ! that car is fast for the size.If the stats are right , thats one helluva tuning box . 0-100 in 12.XX is mighty impressive for a vehicle of that size and price.

12.3 is a pretty realistic figure. The Petrol version with 136bhp and 180odd nm hits 100 in 12.6 secs.

PS : Does Pete make tuning boxes for NA petrol engines as well?

Not yet. Its only turbo cars (petrol or diesel-not every, exceptions do exist).
