Hi, not sure why the entire cost estimate was not made known to you before the work began.

My colleague's car was involved in an accident last week, and the dealer called back the next day providing the cost estimate for the work, as well as the amount he would most likely have to shell. This, he informed after the insurance surveyor's visit and approval.

That is the norm. I am still not sure why greenhorn's TASC is vague about all this!

I know. I recall there being a column which asks about the service advisor's estimate on the service feedback form. Guess who is getting a bad rating on that one this time

I'm supposed to take delivery tomorrow, but I have strong doubts if the car will be ready by then. Either way, will show up with a long checklist - not too sure everything will be hooked up by then

got my car and I'm not pleased (as if thats something new)

the dashboard, fascia and the entire plastic of the interiors is covered with a fine mist of white spray paint. apparently they seem to have negected covering the dash when spray painting

they seem to have painted my front bumper too for free ( and for no reason), and my redgrilles look like whitegrilles.

the service adviser asked for a day to set the interiors right. Lets see if they can do something about it.

Will post pictures of the interiors soon

Paint thinner is what will be used. Pretty stupid to forget to mask the dash when spraying the interiors.

Looks like they banged up your bumper and instead of removing the whole bumper to paint it up, they just painted it on the car itself.

its been a while, anekho ( about 5 years) since i drove the driving school dls. i do drive a friend's GLS once in a while - it has enough poke, but no, havent driven a DLS recently. I think you should check zappo and tsk1979's reviews. i believe they have driven both
