These are now rare breeds, mine had developed steering problems, hence had to sell. ASS was quoting me 75k for change of whole steering assembly.:Frustrati

Have had a great time with the 4x4 version that I got to own for about 3 months. Belonged to a friend and was in for some work that the so called mechanics in Ahmedabad couldn't solve without a full engine overhaul plus spending about 1.5 lac on top of the overhaul, all this at 23000 kms.

We solved it for 2300 bucks and the experience was priceless.

One of the most capable offroaders around that could do anything without breaking any sweat. The most chilled out ride I have ever had.

Lovely pics - just wish the first one was with the door closed. Btw, there is one in Surat for sale on Olx, but condition looks doubtful. It is registered as a tow-truck.

I picked up a Pajero just last week.
Only if I had trawled OLX a little more slowly.
Re registration wouldn't be a big affair, since I am from Gujarat itself.
The first pic was taken after we jumped the fallen tree in the background.

Btw, does your friend still have the TL ?

I will eventually buy a TL but it is not on my "havetoget" list right now.
Too much of work, 2 cars and 3 bikes keep me fairly busy.

About the friend, he will never sell the TL, maybe gift it to me if I outlive him :uncontrol
