I second that! The clutch definitely needs some work. It jumps like a kangaroo when starting from a standstill!
P.S: there is no krr krr sound on your Safar! Lol.

Why 7.5L, does your 2.2 have a larger than normal heart, so to speak?

Guys,

It would help if you include the mileage at which the services are supposed to be done and the mileage at which you did the particular service.

Would be helpful for people who are not familiar with the period / mileage of a particular vehicle's service.

dada

2.2 has engine oil capacity as 7.5L unlike our 3.0 which has 6.5L

And its bad that dealers are still using GTD instead of at least GTX.

Change GTD after around 5000kms.
This oil is as good as water after 5000kms. Rather, I would say, raise a stink to TML and get castrol GTX diesel for free. The owners manual clearly says API-CH4 or greater, TASS have no business putting in the wrong oil. They have to refund you that money and then put API-CH4 oil.

I will. Just want to make them do it for free for all Safari's here in Tvm and hence trying to get hold of someone at Tata via mail and phone calls. Dont want to hear a ruined engine coz of the TASS's ignorance.
