Cedia Sports - 4200KM update

Bought Cedia M-red on 17th October,2007. Driven 4200KM till now.
Givent it for second service (10000km) on 9th May.
Bill amount: Rs.798 (oil change and filter)

Long trips:

Chennai - Vellor & back 300km
Chennai - Tripathi & back 350Km
Chennai - Trichy, Thajor and back 850KM
Chennai - Pollachi and back 1080KM

Petrol : BP regular petrol

No. of persons: Mostly 4 persons

AC : 100% ON

Always self driven

Milage: 9KM in city and 11.5-12.0 on highways( speed between 110-140KM)
( hope this should improve now)

+ve: everything looks good.( handling, supension, brake, Engine noise, GC and AC)
Turning curve at 120km speed - no issue.

-ve: on long drive, we really miss the temp control.
May be spare parts are expensive after the warranty period.
not a -ve point, but I don't see many cedias on the road.(chennai).

Overall, we all love CEDIA

Congatulations VMG. Very to the point (and emotionless ) review. Do post some pics. Did you experience any problems during the initial period?

You seem to be not using your car very extensively.
Mine is just 1 month old and I have already done 2900km. I will skip short term review and jump to long term review soon.

So far I am also very happy with city and highway performance.
Only worry is dealing with the dealer and HM. That too Lathangi is closing down in Bangalore

Wont premium petrol be a better option for Cedia? From experience premium petrol helps MPFI cars perform better, in my case for Xing.

In Jan/2008 shifted my office very close to home( each way is .6km) and I have Santro for city drive. That is why, I am not putting more KMs on Cedia.

Checked with Service guy, he said use only regular petrol.

I used get 'girrr' sound from AC; fixed in the last service( dust in the AC filter ) other than this I did not have any problems.

We all enjoy with our Cedia.
