Thanks so much guys for your inputs. Will surely take up the matter now with the service centre

40k service at 37k? Why so early?

How about a consolidated report on your 37k exp. I'm sure it would have been a breeze.

Got the 30k service done at 28k kms. So, it has done 9k kms without service and i prefer to get it service every 8k kms because of Petes.

The whole experience has been shared on this thread.

The connector gets stuck/jammed due to the heat in the engine bay. I think he had this problem before as well.

Again?? KP, check if any of the connectors are out of shape after the last time you tried to remove it.

haha thats a very typical problem with the pete ka dabba !

has happened a couple of times with me also and invariably it functions in solidarity with Murphy's laws , like when you want to rush to the A.S.S or something like that not to worry , give the connector some time and a good helping of lubricant, wait for sometime and it should be out pretty soon.

Space constraint and the temperature of the surrounding components makes it difficult to play around with.
The best thing is to remove when the engine is in cold condition.

IMO a lubricant will only worsen the situation by reducing the grip on the connector.

The korean missile has just crossed 45000kms today morning.

In last 2 weeks it has covered 6000kms thanks to the Del - Blore - Del road trip.
