Your missile has been very very easy on maintenance so far. Breaks the myth of diesels being expensive to maintain.

Thanks.

Frankly speaking, i bought this car with a mindset of " Use , Enjoy and dispose after 50k kms " but it has proved me wrong all ends up. It has seen everything, Hills, Desert and a cross country run and still begs for more..

Kp, Stop flying ! do some driving.

For those who complain that Verna's CRDi engine is troublesome and expensive to maintain ; here is one that proves you all wrong.

Kp, you idle before shutting down?

I think tbhpian, dinu2506 has clocked around 70k kms.
Of the forum, there's a guy in Kerala who has just crossed 1Lac kms on his Pete'd getz... Mad mallus i must say
Another guy here has reached 80k kms on his stock Getz but he ran into some trouble like injector leakage etc..

Not religiously, but everyday morning its warmed up for 5mins.

Just for the record, in last 10k kms i got some lowest FE till now.. May be its the clutch, its become heavy but no slippage observed so far.

...or maybe your driver did not do 80KMPH-in-5th-gear highway drives all that much

And yours is by far the most exhaustive coverage of the rocket, that's what I meant

KP,
Waiting for a detailed review of the car with monroe. How much did you pay it and from where did you buy?

@KP : +1 to the questions about the shock's.

And, get a mesh for the front grilee - the car will actually look much better without the logo & the chrome strip there.

Black Smoke & chocked air filter!

Yesterday, i noticed that the car was smoking heavily.
Also there was drop in FE during the last couple of tankfulls.

Removed the filter and dusted it a couple of times and this is what comes out..
After the last cleaning, it has only done 1800 kms.
Should i be or for the cleaning ability of the filter. ??
