The bull bar is steel, not chrome plated iron, so rust problem is not an issue. They say it will never rust, if it does they will give me a new one.
They showed me a 3 year old bull bar on their innova. The fiber had lots of scratches, and ditto for the chrome, but no rust anywhere.
as for radiator path, I am not worried about city driving as there is a lot of gap between the grill and the plate, but you are right, for highway driving I would need to get something done.
One option is to have a smaller number plate. This one is visible standing from front, so no issues with cops.

Why not get the number painted on the fibre portion of the bullguard?
Or screw on the number plate there? :)

It will kill the looks.
Considering there is 8"+ Gap between the numberplate and the grill, if I get a smaller grill it will be better, right? Somebody familiar with aerodynamics please guide!

Yup, after the Rajasthan bush whacking, it was a necessity. Moreover I needed something to mount the Fog lamps, and this was the lightest I could find, at less than 8kgs, its just a nudge guard, good for pushing buffalos of noida away.

Are the Noida ones tougher than the healthy Gurgaon ones:D? I doubt it.
The Safari bumper is good enough for nudging buffaloes (and pesky bikes:p) out of the way.

The bullbar is really good yaa. :) With an exact match of the color it really makes your car look cool. Please do post a day time pic with the lights off. None of the photos show how it finally looks with the Hellas (or whichever brand they are) mounted on the bullbar.
And also a view from the driver's seat at night with all the lights blazing! to get an idea of their throw.

They have a narrow beam, which can be focussed anywhere, however intensity leaves a lot to be desired. Later will put in Xenons in them(H3)

tsk1979, a humble request, if you plan to do offroading (non sand) with this truck, please get rid of this bull bar. Agree with the fog lamps part though.

Hrag, I think you are thinking this is like the standard carryboy stuff or other bull bars where if the front hits the rock, the bull bar hits.
Well this is not the case. this is the reason that it took us 2 months hunting for the right bull bar.
This bull bar is
1. Light
2. Is fixed in such a way that no matter what kind of angle of approach I hit, the bumper will hit first if the clearance is not adequate.
Most bullbars are attached below the bumper, this one is attached through the grill on the front onto the bar which goes inside the bumper and is bolted to chasis.
The connection of bullbar with the bumper is thin metal, and will break easily.
This bullbar is just a mount for the fog lamps.
Infact I rejected tata OEM bullbar and clones(carryboy types) because those ones hook from below the bumper, and thus reduce the angle of approach, and if you hit any obstacle it will hit the bullbar. With this one, there is no such issue as it sits higher than the bumper
The bull bar looks really good.
Pl do let us know the prices of the bull bar and the fog lamps paid by you and how much time did it take for the installation
