You did 175kmph with this diesel ? Is it peteifed ?
The FE figures are good and can make one jealous, literally.
The ratings given by you prove that you are indeed happy with the car.
Do post more pictures.

Congoz on the car.
The colour is good.

Weren't the ZXi alloys the one with 7-8 spokes or did they change them when they changed the rear lights et all.

P.S. Mods please shift it to the correct section.

Congratulations for the car. Happy and safe driving . the colour looks good. Nice choice of alloy wheels.

@ abhinav: All new zxi's are coming with the same type of alloy wheels.

Yeah FE is mouthwatering. These days i never think about fuel before switching on the ac or going for a drive.
I am very very happy with the car.

Thats what a relative said when I gave him a ride He said- How did you do that without downshifting? I said- Welcome to Diesel world!
That surge is sooooo addictive, its dangerous!
I keep looking at the tacho when I get some space on the roads, it is such a delightful moment of anticipation when you're at 1900 and then.. like you said..WHOOOOOSH!

You're running the same kind of tyre upsize as I am right?
33psi in front, 31 at the rear is what I do I have not tried other settings because i was satisfied with this.
Gives good straight line speed and also decent mileage.

I too got a chance to drive a Swift VDi (white color) last week in Cochin. The drive is superb and coupled with a good gear box. Gear shifting is a special feel when compared to my UVA. But one thing I hate is that the all around space inside is not that good. External dimensions don't justify internal space. When getting out of the driver's seat the left knee is always hitting the steering column cover. But in UVA it is just like a cool get away from driver's seat. Also keep a check on built quality...

The new ZXis come with different 8-spoke alloys. I'll post the pics of the same later.

Congrats on the new car. Happy driving

The short throw gearbox is super fun on the highways.Yeah space is not all that great as compared to say your UVA but then graduating from an 800 and zen we feel this is totally spacious

Thanks.Yes seatbelts always

Its 2000 km up in 34 days and the turbo rush is getting wilder as the kilometers pass.2nd gear makes torque steer if u reach 2000 rpm while changing lanes and full throttle down and i so love it.
Above 2000 rpm in any gear is like 'tata' to anyone or everyone around.

Also i have a pic of something I made.I m sure you guys will like it

Here you go!

If not for the Lenso Samurai fetish, I'd have retained these alloys

I have a swift ldi myself and the first time I drove off slowly, I thought to myself what's the fuss all about ? This drives like just any other car !

And then I got to an empty stretch of road.

2nd gear, press the accelerator pedal some more, and BAM !
Never have i experienced such a vicious kick in my back and it scared me so much that I had to back off.

I swear had I tried something like this on a busy road, I would have ended up driving straight into the car in front of me.

Took a moment to assimilate my thoughts. Calm my nerves down.

Try again. Same unbelievable surge from the engine. Mummyyyy .:P

Trust me guys, take a TD.

You won't rest until you have one sitting pretty in your garage!

@humyum

As I don't have a tacho, can you tell me what is the approximate speed that you hit 2000 rpm in 2nd and 3rd gears ?
