There are a few dyno reports of remaped RS's on the forum... But the results are hard to digest

@JayD
What type bulbs are they?

Congrats dude

congrats kartik for your superb purchase. You are lucky enough , you've got a vRS finally.

Me myself in delhi am still searching for a vRS till yet. Hope i find a less driven 2006 model black vRS soon.

Cheers

congrats karthik, so ruling the roads now??
by the way why is your car not equipped with the xenon headlamps and washers?
As far as i can see from the pic the headlamps are just normal ones available on all octavias except l&k and vRS. Only the international vRS of 2004 make or before came without these fitments. But if my knowledge serves me correct all the vRS in India came equipped with xenons and washers as standard. you might want to check on it.

Well it surely has xenons and projectors. The car is not with me now so just posted a pic of the engine which i got off the net as i dont have any new pics of my car. Also the Carbonio Intake is also not in the picture

I had done a repaint of the car after i bought it to make it look new so we had to remove all the badges in the process. I got the new badges from uk so maybe its different, didnt notice it.

Hey Karthik, Congratulations on your ride, mate.

I have got my vRS ride upgraded to a 220 BHP last weekend. All the changes have been listed in my BHP Garage. But for the benefit, here are the mods that I have done:

1. Stage 2 ECU Remap
2. Carbonia CAI
3. Forge Diverter Valve
4. Forge Turbo Intake Pipe
5. Milteck Catback Sports Exhaust (full)
6. Bilstein Sports Struts
7. UK Springs
8. Tarox Front Rotor (Upgraded to 312mm)
9. Tarox Rallye Sports Brake Pads (Front & Rear)
10. Evo Heatshields
11. Powerflex Bushes (Front)
12. VAG Top and Bottom Braces

Lot of the mechanical additions / replacements is to provide greater stability and handling. All the work has been done by Petes.

And trust me, I am really loving the mods and handling of the car now.

Hi guys..

Recently i upgraded to 17" wheels are 235/45/R17 tires. Now at speeds above 110-120kmph the steering slightly starts vibrating?? What could it be? This has been there before i switch to 17"ers as well. The alignment and balancing were done when i got the new tires.

Need to replace the brake pads as well, so some suggestions on that will also be great.

Besides this, car needs to go in for a 40k service. Any suggestions on what oil i should buy?? Skoda Dealers stock Shell Synthetic. Is this good enough or any other brand would be better?

Thanks in advance..

Here's a pic of the car..
