Re: Toyota Camry A/T 40,000Kms Report

@vinaydas, can you please share some info around the costs of service and spares? Do you still have this car? What has been your continuing experience?

Re: Toyota Camry A/T 40,000Kms Report

Rode a Camry taxi in Abu Dhabi which had clocked 5,20,000kms.Engine as smooth as new but the suspension was a little noisy.

I got a friend's 2007 Camry serviced in Chennai a month back at 90,000kms; done under my supervision at a FNG.

Oil+ Toyota genuine oil filter+ air filter cleaning+ spark plugs cleaning was all done in approx. 3640 rupees.

Oil was Castrol Magnatec 10W40.

The car is a tad impractical for India due its low GC and huge dimensions.

But for those who want reliability and durability look no further.

On my camry it was because the ballast was not working. eventually had to replace with an entire new unit.

replacing head unit is quite easy and you can find good android ones on aliexpress for around $350.
