Dude, at least put up the smaller TBHP stickers on the car so people can recognise you. Was a pleasant surprise running into you yesterday morning! Too bad you were in a rush.

Heh, thanks man.

On a side note - the car completed 29285km today in its first full year. Time to target 35k km for the next year!

That's a great first year mileage for a personal car. At the end of the second year the premium you paid for the diesel engine gets paid back, what say?

@JK: I'd much rather get drivability across the band, rather than petes - its supposed to help the top end more, no?
@mithun: Good point. I don't drive much - the car drives me

The service bill for the 30k service: 1150 bucks

Total costs till date:
13k service
51k fuel (~Rs 1.7/km)
Accessories would be another 30k types.

What is the recommended service interval for the VDi? How often are the Air filter and Fuel filter to be changed?

If i may ask have you got the EGR cleaning done. If i am not mistaken, Maruti Recommends the same at 30Kms.

Even my Vdi is approaching the 30K mark after 15 months and from what i have been told the 30k service is a major one.
