May we know the location please? I am equally okay if you are planning a travelogue and wish to reveal it there :-) | Quote:

Absolutely correct it is Rara Lake, Mid Western Nepal
This is my 2nd travel out here! Having been there last year on a solo motorcycle ride, December [2016, just before snowfall - the road/track was still more raw and I did have moments to still remember the experience - will write about that and the Safari journey together
Solo Royal Enfield Bullet ride to Rara Lake, Mid Western Nepal - most probably the first solo motorcycle ride out here on a 14-year-old Bullet.
I was lost to travel writing, it is time I do write as the images and memories just stay in the hard disk. I will write to re-live the journeys. Other than bicycle ride in North Korea [??!!] and an absolutely wonderful solo bicycle ride in Pamirs [Tajikistan along the Wakhan corridor + Kyrgyzstan ], I have quite a bit of backlog on Safari travels too-
From the lesser known Nelang Valley, Uttaranchal ...
..to a brilliant complete Rajasthan travel journey...
and a complete traverse of Bhutan east to west and then again from west to east - a fantastic journey with brilliant memories and interactions
and then a Namibia-Botswana Self-Drive Expedition in a Toyota Hilux 4wd, June 2016. The Gang of 4 , on a wildlife trip to be remembered forever. Quote:

You bet, it was some adventure!!!
You see the car jack set lying beside, I tried to first to lift the rear tyre and create ramp using that as shovel but still was not that successful though close but the left rear tyres and the front tyres in the thick mud and had almost no traction and the clutch just about started burning - a 4wd would have taken me out in a jiffy.
Waited for quite some time, and we were almost resigned to stay out there for long, suddenly a tractor comes out and with a fee, we were out soon. Total time lost around 1 hour or so.
