I could tinker around with it to work with the Linea ( a la hack ) but not worth the effort if its official version is going to be released this year itself. Actually its a few changes on couple of files and the identifier set to Linea, essentially its the same software / same Windows CE ( Automotive 3.1) version.
If at all, I were to test it on Linea - should I just download the file on Pen Drive & insert it on USB port in Linea? Or I've to run the downloaded executable file on my PC to install it on the Pen Drive?

you will first need to install the main software on your PC and the software will prepare the usb stick for you. Linea is not listed as a supported model so you can try selecting maybe Punto.

After the usb is ready, just plug it in your car's B&Me socket and turn the key halfway (don't start the engine), the lady will say "update started" and the update will begin. It takes only a minute.

Regards

Omar

I guess it's best to wait for the Linea version release. In any case I don't think it will damage anything if it can't even read the sw on the USB

No it will not, it will give a config / update error but that will not spoil anything on your current system / firmware. I have tried it 10 times ..lol

Worst case in future if something damages the windows automotive OS or the flash memory ie memory corruption or something you can always get a factory reset / firmware re-install.

Pictures taken today morning on my way to office at Fortune Motors, Nerul, New Bombay.

This is the Mudflap Geeash fitted in his linea.
He stated, It's an OEM product.
But as for TATA CSM Chennai,The OEM Mudflaps were released 1 week back only.
I am also waiting for the OEM mudflaps to come.
