I was talking about my car with stock suspension. It used to be bouncy at around 34K, I used to wonder why. Must be the highway trip down to Kerala and the beating it took.

Ikon is the best drivers car, it has got a very good driving position. Baleno is the fast and very fun to drive car. Its throttle response is great!

Thanks srijit and silverknight

It was posted in the alloy wheels thread. Here

Rs. 23500 for a set of four. Tyres are 4.5k each. It has left a big dent in my account.

Excellent choice, those are SC-05s, lovely just lovely. I am also planning to put 205/50R15 on my friend baleno which will see a lot of interstate runs. I want to know how comfy they are. Did you roll your rear fenders? Any scraping issues.

I have started a new thread to describe the tyres. It is a love and hate affair.

Wow, Those alloys and wheels make the Baleno look mean. The dent in your account will be covered up by the looks and admiration you get from those wheels.

Cheers n Enjoy

vivekji05, I was so inspired by your engine bay shots, I got mine cleaned. Here is how it is, and I vow to keep it that way for long:

Excellent vnabhi

At least you now realize that your efforts are worth it. It is easier to keep it that way by timely cleaning.

Once again, I appreciate your efforts.

It was under your inspiration, sir!! I also read in another thread about a car catching fire and one of the reasons suspected was an untidy engine bay.
Thanks once again for your accolade.

New seats for the kids

It was time for the interiors of both cars to be dressed up. First up, was the Baleno with slightly maroonish red interiors much like the one on the Aston Martins. The colour selection was done by Muneemmk and the execution was by his friends at Galaxy, Cochin.

My camera captured them in a shade of slightly garish red. May be looking through a pitch black pair of sunglasses should give you the correct shade.

Then it was time for the Ikon seats to get some new clothes. Chose to stay away from the reds, blues and yellows and opted for a sober shade of Ash.
