Well my question was not from point of view of Scorpio AC effectiveness.

The quote I got for similar work in Bangalore is 31,000 , I saw it in a Scorpio but person was unable to tell if it is with a separate coil or just a blower.

Also that particular dealership Vijay Moters is now closed , I am not a Scorp owner but that guy was willing to offer it in any vehicle as this alteration is done at dealer level often from 3ed party AC guys and not an M&M job.

Do you have any pictures / brands of this aftermarket roof AC unit ?

I get a coil cum vent AC fiited from A.S.S in less 25grands (22 to be precise) so certainly with 31000 he must have ahd coils also.
M&M Also does it now as I have inquired.

More over you can get this done from Lajpatnagar / Karol Bagh in delhi. Not sure for Bangalore.

It's a pleasure to inform that I've completed 2 years reading lots of useful advices/suggestions for different people on this forum.

I've recently completed 1,00,000 kms on my 2006 Mahindra Scorpio SLX as well and it's time to get a little mean

- I'm looking for some suggestions on below:

Suspension upgrade options for my ride.
Is Bilstien a good option, if yes - whom can I contact, estimated upgrade cost.
If new scorpio suspension is better, if yes - can we use the same in 2006 model (how much work/estimated cost/whom to contact)
Any other suggestion.

Braking upgrade options for my ride.
If it is possible to use the new model drums/discs in 2006 model, if yes - how much work is required, estimated cost.
If there are any after market options available, whom to contact, estimated upgrade cost.
Any other suggestion.

I'm in Gurgaon.
My ride is waiting for your replies!

Nice to the point ownership review. the pics are awesome. Reading such reviews makes me even more proud since i just bought my Scorpio mHawk last month. its definetely one of the bestsellers that Mahindra has ever produced. Just a quick question - Did you go for the extended warranty right after the warranty period, was this helpful.
