Thank you gents.

Srikant- it was all-inclusive.

Thanks Tech. Your car looked the same in that Divegarh pics you'd put up. You should put up pics after she returns from her current garage trip.

Spotted your immaculate car!!

I spotted your car yesterday evening at 6.05 pm on Bannerghatta Road. You were stuck in traffic, a little beyond SPAR.

I was in the opposite lane heading up towards the flyover that leads to Forum and as I was in the right lane and traffic was crazy, I could not stop to say hello.

Yeah - we were heading back from the 2 Ls - Lunch + Lifestyle (Oasis mall). I think I was loudly wondering at the time you spotted my car as to what the state of that stretch of Bannerghatta Road will be like in another 2 years and me not wanting to be anywhere close to it!

This was exactly the discussion I was having with my friend at the time as well.

Actually, she wanted me to take a right turn into SPAR but I couldn't manage that due to the traffic pile up and shuddered to think what might happen if it started raining, so I took her to Forum instead!

The pics say it all. A very well maintained car, indeed.

Never thought that the swift would look so stunning in black.

Mag, Absolutly stunning car. I dont have words to describe how well you have maintained your black beauty. I get soo many chuckels and laughs when I go out to clean my car once a week. It would sometimes be soo very embarrasing to clean the car. I am sure you would also have got a stare when cleaning the beauty.

I would like to take a tip from you on cleaning/washing cars

Thats a hallmark of people who regard cars as purely utilitarian with no passion. If you're a petrolhead, you should ignore all those zero-value comments and go for it. Once they see the shining car after a wash, its just a matter of time before they join you in cleaning their own cars.

I wash the car once/week. The one tip that I can think of giving is to not allow/give anyone else to wash your car.

I usually do the same as well. My whole Sunday morning is spent this way, so much that this has become a Sunday ritual for me!

Sometimes, when the car is very dirty, I end up hosing it down with a pressure hose in the middle of the week.

@theMAG: Do you drive your car everyday?

First time I sat inside was Sunday before last. Felt like a fun car to drive. Ok Maggie, let me know your coming weekends plans. I need to shoot this one too.

I used to, until recently - when my office location changed to a central part of Bangalore and I ended up with ulcers while negotiating THAT traffic. Now I go by office cab.

Sunday sound OK? You'll have to excuse me on Saturday since I'll be ensuring one Altis owner is bound and gagged firmly in the boot of his Altis till after the shoot is over.

+1 to it and I endorse your statement on this one. This is one issue which sparks off an argument between me and my wife every week !

Well kept car, by the way. Congrats !
