@gaurav_chopra04

Regarding Asian's service centre, Is it only the paint shop that is located in Anand Parbat or has the entire service centre moved there?

15 kmpl !! the Blue Streak's average is more in line with what h@r$h@l reports 11.5~12.5 city or highway, 60 0r 140kmph, 100% air con.

@Harshal and Khoj; the average FE of my car too stands between 10 to 12 kmpl depending on traffic conditions. I got 15kmpl as a one of case and driving condition that are difficult to find and even if you do then its difficult to resist getting your foot of gas pedal.

For details, I just filled up Rs500 of oil from Moti Bagh ring road Petrol pump and then went to manesar from delhi gurgaon expresway at a speed of not over 70kmph and that to on a weekend with very less traffic. While returning, went inside gurgaon too in the evening and then came back to motibagh and then to paschim vihar. All this accounted for over 150 kms. I was very gentle on the accelerator and never do I remember to have crossed 2k rpm mark. I maintained the revs between 1 to 2 k rpm and clutch was only used when I had to stop. So, the 15kmpl and I just did it to chk whats the max FE I can get, that too after driving 35k kms.

On highway trips to chandigarh and amritsar, I too have managed a max 12kmpl+. A more realisitc delhi traffic FE is 11ish..

Thats more likde Cedia..

2 weeks ago someone stole the rear logo from my car. Any idea how much would it cost at the dealership?

No Idea, but my guess, it should be within 1K. Call in to dealers to enqire!

Only the body shop has shifted to Anand Parbat, the service station still remains at the same place (shivaji marg)

Go over 80 or 2k rpm and you are burning more fuel and yes 80 in cedia looks like a joke so I cant blame any cedia owner including myself for getting the FE of around 12 on expressway.

You are the first Delhi guy who got hands on Evo.

Evo is great!!No doubt.

Thanks for the review.

The plan for Evo launch is final & the price quoted as well.

I am sure that Mitsubishi would be able to sell initial number very fast.

Thanks & Regards

@Gaurav...On a recent trip to Kasauli I got an exact fuel efficiency of 13.8 kmpl for a distance of 621 kms. Average speed was between 90-120 and highest speed achieved was 150 km/hr.

Thoroughly impressed by the overall package and especially the well sorted out chassis and handling in the hills.

Thanks Carfreak.

Congrats for your new acquisition. I was a bit tied up so couldnt reply. Pre-owned car is the best bet, 1st owner takes the depreciation and you enjoy the car for over 70-80% of its life. Will wait for your ownership report.

Take care and drive safe.
Gaurav

wow, 13.8kmpl including hill driving, thats too impressive. One thing I have noticed, if you drive these cars with a gentle foot and within limits, you get excellent FE. The civic at home also returned an FE of 14kmpl on a to and fro trip to chandigarh, where the car was driven by the driver at an average speed of 80-100.

150 was a bit low considering you had panipath toll on the way..lolz.. oh, I now get it, you had a kid on board.

I can vouch for the chassis and handling; the low end torque needs a special mention too, no need to change to a lower gear while overtaking. I am sure you would have loved it.

Gaurav, How come I missed this thread for more than a month!
You lucky chap. In Chennai the show room is in the first floor and when I sat in it's driving seat and held the MOMO in hand, for a moment, I wanted to just rocket the car out of the window and vanish in thin air. The car was absolutely seductive, to say the least. the full time AWD must be a fun at corners! I must also try a chance with Maya Motors, may be in the new year.

Not a lot many people interested in cedia, the thread goes to second page very quickly. Not your fault.

The EVO certainly is very addictive, its hard to resist especially when you are on the drivers seat. A test drive car should be available soon. Dont know how HM is going to manage it but I expect a good test drive as soon as its available.. delhi gurgaon expressway in the afternoons is not bad! lolz..

here goes: this is before the regn plates went up.
TD'd the Altis; Civic and even a used VRs; but thats a long story.
guess the wife's judgement prevailed on the VRs and mine on the Century Diamond. ;-)
saved myself some money too; by not going in for the others.
