Any pointers on what this could be?
Points to a probable Fuel pump failure. Please get that checked.

I do not own a Cedia so cannot comment on how one can check it himself, but in my car, the moment I turn on the Ignition (before cranking) I hear a mild noise from the Fuel pump, which assures me its working.

Thanks for your input vinit.merchant

Update : Cedia was lying idle since last week as I couldn't find time to get her checked.
This morning a careful look in the bonnet revealed that it was a rat that caused all the damage. It nibbled some wires, the central locking also isn't working.
Called the FNG guy, he started the car within 10minutes and is now working on the car.

I guess I should now go through the rat menace thread on Teambhp and do something for all the cars.

That could have been a possible cause, infact this happened with one of the keys of our cedia in the initial days which was sorted after some programming.

This time it was definitely the rat as the car was not even locking/unlocking. Anyways the wiring issues have been resolved, car is performing well, no check lights and the central locking is also working now.

How is brembo? Brembo will cost Rs 10000 for disc and pads for front. Mitsubishi ones are very costly

Brembos are good. At par, if not better than OE.
Sunnyboi or Reignofchaos can offer you better insights though. That car has the Brembo units.

18400 for the entire set - front and rear discs + pads. That's what I paid in late 2015. Brembos are better than the stock brakes. Makes no sense getting stock when these cost a quarter and perform better.

Were these ceramics or semi metallic disc/ pads? I am told that they have semi metallic pads for cedia. I am not sure which one will be better for cedia.

Has someone sourced OEM quality fog lamps (basically the entire kit with wiring etc.)?

I have been looking out to buy fog lamps since my Select did not come with any.

I looked at the link. Will explore further.
Meanwhile got two 3ST tires as the old ones had started cracking. Need to drive regularly else the rubber becomes brittle.
While changing the tires I noticed one rubber part on the front shocker has come off. It's White, it's Sports and it's a Mitsubishi Cedia - 189,000 km done! Edit: Sold!-img_20160830_134835.jpg
