Yes!! Yesterday evening when I fired up my engine after 10 days and I immediately felt that the whole car is shaking like Train engine. I thought that due car lying in damp environment for over week, there is problem with intake and things will get ok after a while. Thankfully I stopped after KM and when I opened the hood, I noticed that the entire cable of the Middle Spark plug is cut with visible "Bite" mark on the coil connector protective cover.

I inquired about the Wire with thieves SVR motors and they say that the entire Wire-Plug head comes with the Coil set and costs Rs 12,000 , and that too, not in stock.
Do not fear, Sunny is here

If your car has an immobilizer, you cannot plug in a different ECU, the car wont start.

You need to have the original ECU with you to read the immobilizer code and program it into the new ECU, otherwise it wont work.

FWIW, this is the photo of my ECU without an Immobilizer.

Just to update my first and last experience at ASC vijay chandra, bangalore. They added more problems than what they fixed. Very poor team. I will have to see my trusted local mechanic who does far better job at 1/4th cost.

Question about the Petronas Paraflu coolant (1 lt bottle available for about Rs. 203).
How many liters are expected to go in Cedia? 4, 5, 6?

I assume this is a pre-mix solution so there is no water to be added extra.

Will also source Tutela dot4 brake fluid this week. I suppose 1 lt is more than sufficient?

Hi Avimal ,
Would you kindly share your mechanic details, and also if he can source Cedia Aftermarket / Direct manufacturer parts ? I am looking forward to some of my suspension repairs and SVR Motors is asking ridiculous amount for the same (Like they asked 12K for Ignition harness which Rats damaged, which I later got thru Sunny Boi Garu for mere 2100.) ?

Thanks
Ujjwal

Hi Ujjwal,
You can check with Dhananjay @ 09845866292. He has workshop at kasturinagar. Generally he goes to JC road to enquire.

re: It's White, it's Sports and it's a Mitsubishi Cedia - 189,000 km done! Edit: Sold!

Need help! Our Cedia, which crossed 90,000 kms has occasional idling fluctuations. When you drive the car for long under crawling traffic, after some time, the rpm starts dropping down below 400 and recovering. If you are not compensating this with throttle inputs, sometimes the car gets shut off.

I've experienced similar behaviour in our Lancer, which has now crossed 150,000 kms.

Is this MAF sensor?

Can someone confirm that this coolant is fine for Cedia?

Yes, the air flow sensor would mostly be the suspect here. When I would slam the pedal in my Invex revs wouldn't climb and the car would struggle to breathe. It would also struggle to idle when the AC was turned on. A new AFS from Mitsubishi, Japan sorted this problem.

Hi Prozac!!!

Great to know that there are few Invex owners around. And even great to know that you are located in Bangalore. Would like to know more about how are you maintaining your car and tips and tricks.

Cheers!!

Got brake pads replaced and the discs skimmed.
Also got the coolant changed and the the brake fluid as well.
Regular engine oil and oil filter replacement.
Now, one rear shock absorber is leaking. Replacement KYB (set of 2) is Rs. 13000. Quite high I think.
