Tata Safari 2.2 - Life beyond 65k kms

Wise men say only fools rush in,
But I cant help falling in love with you,
Some things are meant to be,
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you again

Please welcome Quartz Black 2.2 Safari....

I type this as the vehicle undergoes PDI.

Some fresh pics...

More details as we move on...

Hey I saw these mirrors on a Safari today & even though the fitting was like factory I thought they were after market one as I had not seen them before.

Congrats On getting the beast

Dhanyawad..

Thanks to this forum again.I am transferring 50% NCB from my prev Safari, resulting in premium range of 11k (savings of 11k)

PDI guys are working frantically to complete the PDI. I told them to take their pace and not to miss out something. After they are done t-bhp pdi list will start.

Any other pointers...

Congrats Rahul

and i guessed this right PART-1 of the thread.

you have a wonderful piece of machinery at your hands and hope it serves you well and for long.

Drive safe and Injoy the ride.

BTW you owe us the whole story i.e. the point when you sold the 3L and till you bought the 2.2 and more pics.

Cheers

Wow, you seem to be addicted to the SAFARI. Those mirror blinkers looks good. Waiting for a full review from the fan of the BEAST.

Much has already been discussed out on the 2.2's so my share doesnt differ much from them either...

Before I forget, Thanks for all the warm wishes in advance

1:00pm Reached the showroom and was intimated that the tranporter is on the way from TML yard.

Fast forward to 3.30PM after endlessely eating sales manager brain. It finally arrives.

3.30-7pm PDI work done.. 2-3 trial runs made..and the guys are satisfied.

FF to 8:30pm Family arrives and Puja is done and we are home finally

Boy it was quiet a wait 6 hrs.....Reached home a few minutes ago after a shell normal diesel top up & yes the safari lx now comes with tubeless tires (pardon my ignorance)

Tommorow onwards, the journey begins

Dealer: Pratham.
(some arm twisting and the delivery was taken spot on )
Buggers forgot to give me extended warranty and it was spotted right on and taken from them

Experience: Good if not better.

PDI: Average.. Done in hurry small points left out. Will be taken care later.

Recommendation: Yes if you arent happy with Pandit or Bhandari

"Safari ready to roll out.."

Am I loving it.. Hell Yeah

Congrats on your purchase! Wishing you many miles of happy motoring!
BTW, noticed the sticker on the rear quarter glass mentioning of Demisting, as well as Rear air-conditioning units. Does your model have it?
