Surprising about the beading! Anyway congrats on your buy. Why dont you try and post the interior pics of the car? How much is it run till now? And would like to know about the mileage its returning.

Do you also having breaking issues. I am somehow confused, if this is actually a problem with Maruti or problem with my vehicle.

I feel, the breaking power of the vehicle is not sufficient. I do not get the precision stop which I used to get on my Indica earlier.

2nd service @ 5000 km

2 nd service after the heavy rain and flood experience http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/street...st1520277.html

The car still brings a smile to my face when driving.
Two issues I had with the car.
1. Pulling to the left. sorted out now after alignment was done at the "free" service. paid 350 for this.
2. The right side lower than left esp at the rear wheel arch is visually disturbing but has no ride or handling problems. They did some fiddling with the rear left shocker but it is just the same. I suspect rt spring may be weaker than left hence the tilt.
The windscreen wiper is not cleaning as well as it should but they have agreed to replace them.
cleaning once a week and two polishes so far have kept the VDI shining. No rattles so far in spite of bad roads.
have two long drives planned for nov and dec. one to bangalore and the other bangalore pune and back.
Love the FE as mentioned above. and the whooosh at 2000 and the diesel growl.
Had attached two strong magnets (from a junked hard disk) tot he MT oil drain plug and the engine oil drain plug. will see the results of these next time i change the oil.
Yokos have excellent grip in dry and wet, slightly harder sidewall than michlin xm1's. but great VFM
mandovi river from the bridge.
the VDI at night

The brakes of the dzire are not fabulous but it gets the vehicle to stop satisfactorily. adequate would be the best way of describing it.

Wheel alignment is always a paid job, even during free services. But it can be done at a tyre specialist also (cheaper and in all probablity better)

Hardly any other cost besides the alignment.

The top two are taken with OE bulbs dipped beam and main beam,
The bottom two taken with new bulbs again in the same dipped on the left and main beam on right. the improvement in lighting is obvious.
The other pic is the packaging

We have Dzire VDI , now ran 14k+. I have noticed two issues

1. Pulling to the left, must be checking the alignment/balancing now
2. I still use the stock tyres .The tyres are rotated on every service and alignment /balancing is also done. But the outer side of the front left tyre has got wear and tear. I have spoken with the service engineer AVG, Kottayam and he said this has been happening with swift diesel as well, occurs only with swift/Dzire diesel vehicles and so far not corrected.
I know one more person with Dzire VDI who is facing the same problem.

Did any one else faced these problems? any solutions?

Rajesh

My problem with the pulling to the left has dissapeared with alignment.
No uneven wear noticed yet. only done 5K. Not many swift / dzire owners reporting this issue.
