Thanks for the detailed update buddy.

I understand the plastic quality is not as expected and feel I can live with it. But the squeaks would be a bothering point, seems to be regular quality issue.

I did not like the quality of cloth used on the seats, but feel a good seat covers will improve the look of the interiors. Since there is enough leg space in the rear seating, I was just wondering if it is possibile to slide the rear seat base one inch forward and increase the angle of backrest.

I am looking at using Xenon as a replacement for my Gypsy which has broken my back after years of usage in the jungles. Though Xenon will not be a exact replacement to Gypsy in terms of capability, I guess there are other advantages which I have been longing for while owning a Gypsy.

Driving in Bangalore City with bumper to bumper traffic and parking could be a challenge for daily commute.

Looks awesome. But is it worth the moola?? 48k i heard ,for the canopy!!!!
I wanted the roll bars for my car,but the dealer said that not included in the accessories list.whereas the official website says it is an additional accessory.
Tata needs to improve by leaps n bounds when it comes to marketing. Really poor in that area!!

49k 4da canopy .. 7k 4da bed liner .. self got me both nd fixed on my beast .. easy to remove and re fix .. will post fotos at da earliest ..

Saw a black Xenon double canb with canopy on mount road today - it had a big Uninor logo on both sides. Looked nice and has nice presence. Especially liked the huge stamped "TATA" at the back.

i had been to b'lore concorde motors to order some accessories for my xenon around 3months back,at that time the Manager told me that Uninor had booked 75+ Xenon with canopy and they are still waiting for the delivery.

Here in Mangalore,there are 10+ bookings but no one has got one since 4months now.

TVM Uninor got three of these ( these come with puny 215 tyres! )

Hello guys.. does anybody know where do we get the ROLL BARS for XENON?? i saw a posted pic on one of the forums in which the car has got roll bars on it. looks lovely on the car.

Great to hear that someone is buying Tata Xenon's. It would be interesting to know what made Uninor to buy Xenon XT. Any idea why is the delay? 4 months is a very long time for Xenon.

The xenon is one mean machine..
only the price is on the higher side.7-8lacs the commercial buyers won't even have a look at it,but still it would be affordable for buyers like us.
Can't wait for the next gen xenon on the X2 platform

Nope. donno the reason for the delay.I had to wait for almost 40 days for mine to arrive.There are about 7or 8 Xenons for uninor in the yard,which is yet to be delivered.
There are around 12+ bookings in M'lore but the cars have not yet arrived. I meet so many people who show interest in buying this vehicle. The dealer out here in Mangalore doesn't even have a TD vehicle.
Carryboy has got many accessories for the Xenon. That includes variety of Roll bars ,front n back nudge guards,storage box,side step,door visor,bed liner etc. I donno about their availability in India.I'm in touch with the customer care regarding the pricing and shipping to India. Will update about it as soon as i get their mail.
