Does the active variant also come with all "my car" features? I mean, door ajar warnings, seat belt warnings, instantaneous fuel consumption etc etc?

Congrats ms001. Enjoy the bold new drive
Your 'Cons' on Punto are very true. Many a times I get blocked by the A-Pillar. At certain speeds, I am not able to see the two -wheelers zipping in. I just slow down.
Also, Where did you get the sun-filming done? what is the transparency you opted for?, If it was at the Prerana Serivce center - How is the finishing? Any hindrance to Night driving?

a.The door open option comes on once you get remote lock installed only for the front doors.
b.The other difference is you do not get outside temperate/date.
c.The trip meter reading is only for trip A.You do not get a trip B reading.Else all is same.

Hey ms001 Congrats.
I see your car has a mud flap. This means now it is avaialble in dealerships.
Which floor mats you got? Rubber or cloth?

As far as the Central locking and autocop is concerned, some where i read that the ECU does not accept after market fitments. So be careful while installing one.

I have got the remote locking done in my active punto and seems to work fine.Have to let a couple of days go by to see if its safe.Got it installed just two days back.No issues yet.

sunfilm was done at autoshop Koramangala Its a 3M product by the name CS20 .Cant recall the exact transparency it is somewhere around 50-60% i guess . night driving is not an issue. And the finish is great.
here is the link to their website 3M India: CS Series

It's under strict observation for the past 2 days. I will update it on my ownership report once I realise the change is here to stay and not just due to a 'moody engine.' BUT, the change is so drastic that even a female co-passenger commented on it .
