nice pic dude and update. No wonder highway dynamics of the Punto makes the owners to take the car out for frequent rides. May be thats the reason why we don't see many inside city. Punto are busy munching miles on highway

Every time i read a Punto ownership report with good pics, i feel mad rush within to buy a Punto. Looks like a have to stay away from ownership threads.

the car is a joy to drive on the highway may be that is the reason for so many highway spotting's.

No need to stay away from ownership reports just get yourself one

My friend has purchased a white punto active multijet over the weekend and we went for a drive on NICE road a while ago and here are my observations

1. The interiors are rather dull with all black and plasticky.
2. I heard that that the punto active comes with only one side mirror on the right as default. My friend had to bargain with the dealer to fix the one on the left.

now comes the good part

1. The engine is torqy and noise levels considering its a diesel is quite low.
2. loads of torque on mid range.
3. The front seats have good thigh and back support
4. Lots of space for the front passengers in the front but not as much for the rear passengers. I am 5.8" tall and found it was okay at the back when compared to the swift.
5. The interiors look very roomy given the large window dimentions.
6. The rear pillars obstruct the behind veiw, but marginally.
7. The vehicle felt well planted even at 140-150 kmph and the suspension setup is quite nice. No vibrations or unwanted undulations observed. At 120 kmph it seems as if the car is doing only 80-90 kmph.
8. The boot space is quite sufficient for a small family.
9. The gear shift is nice and precise
10. The punto draws quite a bit of attention.
11. The white punto looks a little bland, the blue and red look much better IMO.
12. A nice and big glove box .

overall a very good package and absolute VFM

+1 for that. I did a valparai, pollachi trip last weekend and it feels fantastic to drive the Punto. Great handling and ride quality. will post the pics and details in my thread soon

1) agree to point one, the fit and finish should have been better for overall plastics, but they are quite ergonomically designed.
2) Active comes with both side ORVM as default the dealer is cheating your friend.

car polishers door step car detailing

Based on the reviews on another thread , I thought of giving my punto a pre monsoon wax treatment from car polishers.
Booked the appointment a day in advance, and the guys were at my place dot on time.I had opted for the exterior polishing , which included dash, door pad,mat cleaning. They used all 3m and waxpol products.
And i must say that they did a perfect job absolute value for money at 499/-

Highly recommended
