Unfortunately Hyundai have replaced the rear breaks with Drum instead of Disc. Make a good car and how to spoil it with such ommissions we have to Ask Hyundai.
You bet. Hyundia these are turning out to be good brand killers, first it was the getz and now the verna get's the whip

Your Verna has rim wheels with covers. Is it not the 1.5 SX CRDi version?

ABS feature and Alloy wheel comes with the fully loaded verna SX model. Then how come there are no alloy wheels?

Correct me If I am wrong.

Mine is the CRDi+ABS version, not the SX version. What's missing from my car is the rear adjustable head rests, sunglass holder at the front the the twin roof mounted lamps, fake wood finsih for the AC vents,ICE console, climate control and Distance to empty meter.

Ohh, Is there a version with CRDI+ABS without ABS?
Why didn't you go for SX variant?

Do you think the so called 2010 Verna design will make a wave? Checkout the latest face lift done on Ford Fiesta and Ikon.. I personally don't like that bumpy look, but prev version was looking better. Like that in the case of Verna, will that be a thumb down? Just my curiosity.. never mind

Shell Diesel

Been waiting to pen down my review of my verna here after it crossed another milestone.

Got my Verna after lots of trouble last 8th May 2008 is when she arrived home. Dressed in real earth color a she-wolf in a humble sheep's clothing.

Since then it's been no turning back and all smiles and long miles. When needed she turns into this savage beast when provoked and at times acts like a humble puppy on the city roads. She has made me beleive that owning her was not a bad decision at all.

Now, 20,000 kms and 1 year down the line, It still handles and zooms like if it was from the production line minutes ago.

I guess this is enough of introduction on my car and get into the review.

Regards,
Sajan.
Hi,

I read that you have been using shell diesel, I purchased a Verna fully loaded and have completed 2 free services as well. I was advised not to use shell diesel by the service advisor as it contains more cetane than specified by the manufacturer which is between 52-54.

The grill has come out really well. Custom job?
I feel a Hyundai emblem in the middle will enhance the looks.
