Now, the same wire-mesh filter was cleaned with air jet and refitted. See the wire-mesh filter included in this second free servicing bill:

In my case (and almost all Punto/linea service reports these days) the wire mesh filter is replaced. My Puntos 3rd service was done last week and wire mesh filter was replaced

Portable air compressor from amazon is in transit. Amazon.com: VIAIR 85P Portable Air Compressor: Automotive
Yesterday, I received VIAIR 85P Portable Compressor for my Linea.

Today, I tested it on my Suzuki Fiero motorcycle as the air pressure in my Linea was in tact. The rear wheel of my Fiero was around 22 psi initially, which I wanted to inflate to 32 psi. I connected the portable compressor in my Linea's cigarette lighter point, connected the rear wheel mouth with the nozzle, started the engine, switched on the compressor, within about 10 seconds or so, it was up to 32 psi.

I checked the pressure with my solar-powered tyre pressure gauge. It showed 33 psi.

Robust build. Very less sound. No air leakage. Quick air fill. Accurate pressure gauge. I am fully satisfied with VIAIR 85P Portable Compressor.

Now, Cara Mia FIAT Linea has become more fragrant with nice natural citric smell thanks to My Shaldan air fresheners that sit on the cup holder.

Its a good registration number. Did you have a choice of this number or you just got lucky?

Thanks, BurningHeart. I had left the choice to RTO's discretion.

Just Rs 7222/- for 24k kms on odo? Thats WOW. Shows that FIAT has really made the cost low inspite of using synthetic oil. And the cost difference between a Petrol and Diesel Linea is pretty high. I think the diesel costs around Rs 6k or more if I'm not wrong.

Thanks, krish3, for the compliments. My Linea's service cost works out to mere 30 paise/km [7222.44/23958] so far. In case of diesel Linea/Punto, the fuel filter with sensor itself costs ~Rs 2000 as against Rs 438 for petrol, and hence, the cost escalation.

re: Cara Mia Fiat Linea! EDIT: 71,700 km and sold!

I couldnt find a correct fitting Mobile charger for my Linea MJD. The only power outlet is Lighter. I tried 100s of different Charger Plugs, none fitting snugly, all are loose.

Any solution, pls
