Finally I spotted a FTA Linea last week. Looks very lovely.
Try some pics with plane back ground, say a wall or something. the house gate, other cars etc technically are little distracting elements

Even though I have been driving for more than three decades, my driving was restricted to the southern states of India, i.e., until recently. After becoming a proud owner of Fiat Linea, I have been contemplating to drive in my Fiat Linea to break my own record. So, after discussing with my wife and two daughters, I decided to drive in my Fiat Linea for a long trip of Bangalore-Goa-Mahabaleshwar-Mumbai-Pune-Bangalore.

Checked out your travelogue thread. The Mahabaleshwar and Goa pics are quite beautiful. After reading your thread I am quite inspired to go for that LX130 model.

How did you find company operated Petrol/Diesel pump? I mean how do you distinguish between the private and company owned?

I usually have petrol from HP COCO outlet near my home & BP COCO outlet, Chinnar, NH 7, near toll plaza, Krishnagiri, where quality and quantity are better than the unknown private dealers. Usually COCO retail outlet is a huge one with attached restaurant/children's play area/toilet facilities and displayed in bold letters with big sign boards. Prior to my trip, I downloaded the list of COCO retail outlets located on my route from the websites of BP/HP/IOC and the Internet.

Thanks a lot, GTO, for the compliments. Yes, I did the driving of entire 8 day, 2887 km long trip. I thoroughly enjoyed driving NH 17 from Goa to Mumbai via Mahabaleshwar. Breathtaking, picturesque and amazing ghat sections, one after the other!

Ravi, nice pics from your travelogue.I'm sure you would have thoroughly enjoyed driving her throughout this trip. Even I need to drive to the northern parts of India, been driving mostly in south india so far.

Your trip to Varanasi/Jaipur will be quite long , how many kms will it be approximately ?

I enjoyed every second of 8 day and every metre of 2887 km long trip!

Bangalore to Delhi is approximately 2000+ km. For the entire round trip, it would be around 5 k km, I think, I can easily do that with stops at Hyderabad, Varanasi, Agra, Delhi, Jaipur, etc. The return journey could easily be completed with one night halt, driving 1000 km/day. I shall let you know once I finalise planning part.

I wish, you can also go for a long trip in your Fiat Punto! I wish you all the best.
