When switching off with the key, the blower fan still keeps working for a minute or until the key is pulled out of the keyhole.
Pretty useful in our hot summers.

Can't continuously change the delay settings, but I believe it's a function of the ECM, and resettable at factory. Doubt if dealerships can do it though. Maybe M&M should have provided a rotary switch for toying around with!

EDIT: And yes, the mHawk automatic does not come with MicroHybrid - M&M hasn't figured out how to install the system without a clutch pedal?!

Just one glitch in the delivery process discovered till now - the roof aerial was not installed. Told my SA (the terrified one), and he's promised to provide it as soon as I drop by at the showroom.

Anyway, congratulations on the car. Do call before you plan the NE trips. Might just accompany you. A small plan is brewing on my side too.
Aniket, as I explained to you, it's totally my fault, missing out on telling you about it - and here's a public apology for it! And thank you so much for the congratulations.

Fantastic, congratulations on the First 4WD Scorpio Refresh. You beat me to it! But then a sudden incident in the family has actually delayed purchase plans.

Now tell me, about the color options story, are the black and white the only options. Is the black one completely black or black with Silver lower body?

Thank you. Look forward to your getting one too, so we can compare notes and meet at CCU in Dec.

I was told the colour options are either full white or full black. Never heard a silver cladding mentioned. And it's also available now as 4WD in SLE specs, apart from the VLX that I have.

Congrats!!! on your Scorpio 4x4. Drive safe.

Are you sure 4WD is available in SLE as it is still not in the price list.

@ adzegeek: The figures you quoted were for GVW. ULW is 1850 kg for 2WD, 1920 kg for 4WD.

Thank you for the congratulations.

I stand corrected - the SLX is available in 4WD guise at @ Rs.9.66L. Check here. I'm not sure if that is the mHawk or CRDe engine.

The color combinations are the same as for the 2WD model. Black comes with the silver dual tone combo in the 2WD VLX with the Azure Blue/Black interiors.

The SLX comes with the CRDe engine and doesn't have ABS so the pricing makes absolutely no sense. For 50K more it is better to go for the VLX 4WD which comes with the mhawk and ABS.

yes, even i have read that the 2WD versions are available only with the mHAWK engine but those opting for 4WD scorpio has the option for mHAWK in VLX & CRDe in SLX.

M&M seem to keep the old 2.6 L CRDe nomenclature alive by labelling the variant as SLX. For the 2.2 L MHawk its the LX, SLE and VLX now.
SS Traveller keep the reviews and pictures pouring in. Its the 4WD that makes your brute beast different.

Was trying out my hand at photographing the car and the lights of Diwali (wish photography was as easy as driving ), and here are a few halfway decent pics for the effort.
