Platinum Beast - Ford Fiesta 1.6 ZXi - 3 year / 32,000 kms done

19th November is a golden date in my life thats when my Platinum beauty was handed over to me. First of all thanks to fellow feata t-bhpians for their valueable advice, feedback for all of my queries, without you guys I wouldn't have made this fantastic decision of owning a Fiesta.
The knots in the stomach started growing tighter as the D day arrived. Had spoken to Ford exec about the delivery time and afternoon 1230 was fixed for the same. Reached the showroom and there she was standing majestically, waiting for me to ride her and tame her. Since I could not do the stcokyard PDI due to bad weather, I decided to go for a thorough PDI. Had also asked the exec not to prepare the invoice before the PDI. So armed with the PDI checklist contributed by bhpians, I started out for inspection. Took almost 1 hr 15 min to completely do the checklist. The exec was tired because of my frequent queries and at the same time impressed with the way I was going about the inspection. He also asked for a copy of the checklist which I promised to mail him. Even a senior exec ventured to explain me the details but backed off when he know he was talking to BHPian.
The Odo read 73 kms as against 41 in stockyard. Thexec told that this was due to vehicle brought to city, made rounds to Octroi & RTO. I was to argue but decided against it but when I saw another vehicle with 75 on odo I thought it might be the case. Also the saw the DTE read 51 kms, when enquired was told that reserve of 7 litres was there in tank.
After the inspection, sat down with the exec for the documentation. Execpt for the original PDI checklist and sales certificate all the documents mentioned in the checklist were available. Handed over the final DD and collected the receipt. Also got the earlier receipts changed since it had colour Morello instead of Platinum. Insisted with the exec for the original PDI which he promided to get it from the stockyard guys. Collected the keys in duplicate. Meanwhile wife completed the puja ceremony. Distributed sweets to sales & workshop staff and a special token gift to Manish the exec.
Time to go and take my beasta for the ride home. On the way filled the tank with BPCL Speed, went to local temple, second round of puja done and proceeded home. On the way could see people rolling their eyes as the Fiesta zoomed. Reached home, parked and third round of puja done by parents. Phewww, no wonder the Fiesta are so blessed.
Have already completed 200 on the odo with strictly adhering to the speed requirment.
The accessories added"
1) Replaced the Tyres with Michelin
2) Body cladding with Chrome insert
3) Antirust (warranty of 5 years from Wurth)
Got a new leather vinyl seat covers for 4.8K and Garware Icecool Shield for front glass. Got the vehicle to office and has already elicted few enquires and lots of glances, sighs etc.
Happy to be a part of Fiesta Family. I will be posting the photos tomorrow.

I got the Michelin Energy XM1+ installed in place of stock MRF tryes by Ford dealer for 5K difference. Retained the Tyre size, did not go for the upgrade. Reason being wanted the fiesta to undergo the harsh road conditions esp in monsoon in Mumbai/Thane to see if there are any issues with suspensions. If not upgrade to 185/65 later.
