soti ganj.
A lot of acrapped vehicles end up here on piecemeal basis.
so much so that they can fashion a a component out bits from different cars.

Read something about them building a complete car, an MS maybe, out of bits and pieces.
seemed a long one, but cant put anything by them.

Yea.. yea the part number is correct. Is it the same one for 2.2 and 3.0L. Heck I am 15 kms away at home from the mechanic shop so can't put up the pictures now, will do it tomorrow for sure. But it is similar to the below featured picture on bosch website:

Bosch - Air Mass Sensors

Please let me know if you need further details I will PM you.

While I feel you've made up your mind about the 215s I'd suggest you reconsider!

Hi adi,
i havent made up my mind. while i was hoping its the right decision ( to downgrade the tyre size ) , i am confused as well. otherwise i would've gone ahead and done the needful without procrastinating.
See at the very bottom of all this - whether the vehicle can be retained without having to replace new things one after another. That expense i can do without

Re: Tata Safari TCIC 2,30,000+ km review!

Hi

Tata Safari Dicor 2.2 VTT Lx reached Trissur in Kerala from Mumbai. After her 2 day rest enroute to Palakkad the front joint star of the shaft broke and cut the main inlet diesel pipe made a lot of noice before settling the shaft above the silencer. Got her towed to Hyson Motors and left for work. Pls find attached their estimate for all work. Is it worth doing from TASC Thrissur or from some local shop in Mumbai after only getting the shaft rectified. Pls urgently help.
