yes the lower profile + wider tyres make a huge difference. the car feels much more chuckable. but yes i am thinking about a strut brace and performance brake pads.

If she's not a daily drive>>>>>>Honda Accord V6 2003-2007 B&G S2 Sport Lowering Springs-Honda Lowering Springs

Neuspeed has a bolt on strut bar. The few mm drop will also make your rims look hotter.

Magnaflow is the best w/r/t to cost, sound, looks & quality. Heard it myself.

edit

your brake pads can wait till you've crossed 20 - 25 k. They will need changing then.

ahh but she is a daily drive. dont think i want to lower it, but i probably will look at a strut bar soon enough.

magnaflow does seem to make the best catback, but for now im pretty happy with the silent performance. exhaust is probably one of the last things on my list.

i have a feeling il wear out my brake pads earlier

Did you try for stock replacement filters before this? I feel the stock air box is more safer and has better CAI built into it. Yes these engines are VERY VERY expensive to repair

dont scare me. lol. but this cars stock air filter had 2 parts. one resonator which sits behind the bumper and takes in air. and then the air filter which was in the engine bay. so ive used the short ram tube of the k&n and the filter is right next to the opening from the resonator, so it should be getting air from right behind the bumper.

i might not even switch to a full cai where i take out the resonator and put the filter behind the bumper because there is a problem of water getting sucked in.

Yup that was a good thinking. Just leave it at that for now, trust me this CAI thing and universal typhoons are one of the most overrated accessorie your money can buy

i would have agreed completely with your statement before this buy. k&n claims 10.4hp increase with this and they have dyno graphs of the same. i didnt expect much honestly. but the top end of the car has become wild, and the car does seem to be more powerful. also its given it a nice sound, i daresay a bit like a porsche cayenne. its shown me what another member CPH keeps saying, what a difference a well designed intake can make.

my opinion now is that if an intake specifically made for the car is bought it is hardly money wasted and infact a good buy.

Dyno it and see, i might be surprised then. Most often its the sound effect which gives you the feeling of power.

Have you driven her with the same hard acceleration with stock filters? and what about the stock replacement filter power graph? Have you checked the comapnies claim for that? Just curious.

theres no claimed power graph for the stock replacement. they dont seem to provide claims on stock replacements for any cars but they do so on the cold air intakes.

and yes, i have driven her with the same acceleration (full throttle 1st and 2nd gear) with both and i did notice a difference. havent got to test out the 3rd gear full throttle.

small update -

got the battery changed to an exide one of the same size. this car has a pretty big battery, lol. it cost rs.6930. car cranks a bit quicker and the instrument cluster used to dim a little earlier while cranking, well, thats stopped.

also the first tank after fitting the k&n saw only 210 which is the worst mileage ive got till date. but also i had been revving it every chance i got. i shouldnt have expected better mileage. now ill drive normally and see if i can still manage to get 6kmpl after changing the filter.

The short ram takes away quite a bit of the low-down torque and also it bloody noisy after 3500-400 rpm! Was driving a 2.4 with the same today. And also, don't put in the full CAI by any chance, the intake point is too low in the front fender/bumper, you will in probability suck up water via the intake especially in Mumbai monsoons.
