I have been lurking around this thread for long. Really good car you got for a pretty decent price. I look forward to more pics, also of the rear seat, more interior/exterior pics. I hope I can upgrade to a similar car soon :-)

That's right. Its a 5 speed with gradelogic. Its not as good as a dsg but its not bad either.

Nice pictures Akshay! If I'm not wrong, the stock size is 16". Why don't you upgrade to 18"? that would set it off! Or are you worried about the pot-holed roads around?

She looks well maintained. The interiors looks nicely worn and I'm sure she runs like a well oiled machine! It's frustrating to run-in a car that makes 220 odd horses! It's one of the advantages of buying an used enthusiasts car. No running in required as such!

Yes the stock size is 16". I have thought about 18" quite a lot and on bombay roads I will have to be way too careful with 40 profile tyres, not to mention that 18" rims and tyres cost a lot more than 17". On delhi roads 18" could be done but not on bombay. 17" is the best compromise between looks and comfort.

The earlier owner barely used it. That's what made it such a good deal. I had to compromise some fun for practicality. The auto box is very practical is mumbai traffic.

No clue about the CBU part but it could be possible.

thanks. the high security number plates have already been ordered bro. no we are keeping the innova till the end of this year.



another little thing i did to the car. i changed the stock horns to the bosch horns, the ones which sound like the mercedes horns. i paid 625 for them.

The car looks like she's just been driven out of the showroom. Even the interiors are in immaculate shape. I prefer the rear end of the facelift Accord, compared to the droopy design of the pre-facelift. Perfect colour and number too.

thats true. its as good as new except that the outside needs a coat of polish and the leather needs a bit of cleaning. im getting that done next week from sachin and rhyme and rhythm. i prefer the led taillights too but honestly i couldnt care less, i wanted the car for the engine. everything else is just a bonus.

tempted?? haha, you will be even more tempted after i show you the rims i thinking about putting on. ill go to the shop tomorrow and take some pics then hopefully everyone can help me decide which ones to change to.

my new years resolution - not to use this car in the day. ill use it only early morning, or in the night, or if im going on a slightly longish drive maybe to the suburbs on lonavla or something. its not worth having this monster kept on a leash in traffic, not to mention the huge increase in FE in traffic.
